Was inspired by life journeys that woman take in their life from fantasy to reality.

The fish is composed of a metal armature and his scales (silk rose petals) were carefully attached, dyed to give the illusion of fish scales and his fins are adorned with feathers. The woman rider, wire armature and cloth, face needle sculpted and skinned. The beading was done in Austrian Swarovski Crystals which are seen on her gold mantle and feathered hat. She holds in her hands the golden oars that help her glide to her next destination.

This is a one-of-a-kind hand made figurative piece measuring 24” x 24”
Approximate time involved 480 hours
